The heart of NYU Wagner's programs is our faculty. An amalgam of full-time, clinical/research/visiting, and adjunct professors, they are outstanding teachers, expert researchers and committed practitioners.
For serious, talented professionals ready to face the constantly changing challenges of public service, the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service provides a rigorous education that prepares our graduates to be leaders. Established in 1938, NYU Wagner offers advanced programs leading to the professional degrees of Master of Public Administration, Master of Urban Planning, Executive Master of Public Administration and Doctor of Philosophy.
The coursework at NYU Wagner has an urban and global focus and an interdisciplinary approach to teach students management, policy and finance. Our courses and programs include a mix of perspectives and knowledge to confront society's most pressing problems.
NYU Wagner takes full advantage of being located in the heart of one of the world's busiest global cities, with residencies, externships and clinical courses that connect the classroom to the real world. Students learn from practitioners and researchers who are actively involved in setting the course at key nonprofit organizations, health care providers and government agencies in the city and the country.
