Katherine Bourne
Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Administration


Katherine Bourne is a consultant in international public health, and in addition to teaching Capstone at Wagner, teaches at the Bard Program on Globalization and International Affairs. Ms. Bourne was Vice President for International Policy and Regional Programs at the International Women's Health Coalition, and prior to that Vice President for Country and Regional Programs at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative. Ms. Bourne has also worked with Pathfinder International, first as Country Representative for Vietnam and then as Director of Public Affairs in Watertown, MA. She lived in Beijing, China, from 1990 - 1993, where she was a consultant to the United Nations Population Fund.

Ms. Bourne has a Master's of Public Health degree in International and Family Health from the University of Texas in Houston and holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
