Melinda Pavin
Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Policy

Dr. Melinda Pavin received her MPH in Psycho-Social Epidemiology from Tulane University and her PhD in Social Science, with a focus in Medical Anthropology, from Syracuse University.

Prior to this Position, Dr. Pavin was the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research at EngenderHealth. Dr. Pavin worked with the USAID in the Caucasus as the Regional Health Advisor and Senior Technical Advisor for Health. Dr. Pavin has implemented organizations working on health system strengthening and health reforms, primary health care, community health, maternal and child health and reproductive health in the Former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions. She has over 15 years experience in international health and development.
