Chairman, Tandon Capital Associates
Chandrika Tandon is chairman of Tandon Capital Associates, a banks-focused advisory and investment company that specializes in restructuring. Prior to founding Tandon Capital in 1992, she was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. for six years and a partner there for five years. Ms. Tandon began her career in India at Citibank where, by the age of 23, she was the bank's financial controller for South Asia. She is a director of the American India Foundation and of the Indo-American Arts Council Inc., and is the founder and chairman of the League of Artisans, a non-profit organization that markets the work of Indian artisans in the United States and internationally. Ms. Tandon serves on the Stern Board of Overseers. Her husband, Ranjan Tandon, is the managing member of Libra Advisors LLC, an emerging markets hedge fund firm that he founded in 1995. The couple lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
