Libraries

Students can pursue research in the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library, the centerpiece of NYU’s seven-library system and one of the largest open-stack research libraries in the country, or in one of a number of specialized and affiliated libraries located around the city.

International Students Resources

International students are encouraged to visit the Office of International Students and Scholars for assistance in visa paperwork and the logistics of your move.

Office of Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center

The Office of Graduate Student Life in the Student Resource Center accommodates the non-academic needs of all students across the University. It offers additional resources for commuters, transfer students and students with children.

Athletics and Recreation Facilities

NYU has two fully equipped fitness centers: Palladium and Coles. And if there’s a sport or activity you’re interested in, there’s probably a club for it through the Office of Student Activities.

Student Housing

Most of NYU’s graduate students live independently in New York City or one of its boroughs. Visit NYU’s Off-Campus Housing Office, in person or online, to find both apartment and roommate listings, and access to their many other resources.

New York City Resources

Whether you’re brand new to the city, looking to explore a different neighborhood or visit a new landmark, these resources can help you find whatever you’re looking for in and around the city.
