The External Affairs Administrator will be responsible for: a) providing logistical support to the Office of External Affairs; b) facilitating special events services for NYU Wagner; c) maintaining special events-related content on the Wagner website; d) administering the Communications and Special Events budgets; and e) supervising and training student employees.

Associate Director - Human Resources

The Associate Director, Human Resources will assist the Assistant Dean, Fiscal Operations and Human Resources with the strategic management and delivery of human resources services to enhance the experience for Wagner's operational core - its people. The role will be responsible for a) serving as the liaison and subject matter expert with Central University units to achieve objectives; b) developing and overseeing recruitment strategies, including screening applicants, recommending candidates, and managing the on-boarding processes; c) defining and developing metrics analysis of human resources data; d) providing guidance to managers and employees regarding long-term role and career development; e) managing employee relations in an effort to reduce/eliminate workplace issues; f) managing the annual performance review process and supporting the annual merit increase cycle; g) developing and implementing professional development programs, workshops and events; and h) staying current with human resources trends, practices and employment law changes.

Database Administrator - Information Technology

The Database Administrator will be responsible for a) serving as technical liaison to system users and vendors regarding database issues, access, and testing as well as data conversion; b) leading, assisting and collaborating with stakeholders on customization, maintenance, and integration of system software or database applications, c) managing data quality efforts by working with administrative units and central ITS on establishing processes and procedures to identify and fix erroneous and inconsistent data, d) providing assistance to Web Development functions of the unit, e) evaluating, recommending, and coordinating changes to policies regarding use of database systems to improve system efficiency and security, f) researching, testing and recommending new technology and applications, and g) assessing and managing student staffing needs.
