NYU Wagner’s curriculum and extracurricular activities are geared towards training and supporting the next generation of public service leaders. During the application process, the Admissions Review Committee seeks out candidates who have demonstrated some level of ability to make a positive impact in their surroundings, no matter how big or small scale.

We look for evidence of this type of leadership potential through recommendation letters, the personal statement, optional essay and roles and positions listed on the applicants’ resume.
