Celebrate former Wagner Dean Howard Newman
Join the Wagner community in honoring former Wagner Dean Howard Newman. Dean Newman served as Dean at NYU Wagner from 1988-1993. During his time, he helped define the institution's approach to educating future generations of public service leaders with a focus on multi-sector impact. It was under his leadership and through his vision that the school, formerly know as the Graduate School of Public Administration, became the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Dean Newman also created the NYU Wagner Capstone program, through which students have the unique opportunity to apply their knowldge and skills to facilitate high impact change in public service organizations.
Dean Newman loved NYU Wagner and, to honor him, his family has asked that any donations in his name be made to support student scholarships. Wagner is working with Dean Newman’s family to plan a Celebration of Life Ceremony that will be held Fall 2011. Please notify us at email@example.com if you are interested in receiving more information.
