Fond Farewell to Lisa Taylor
After nearly seven years at NYU Wagner, Lisa Taylor (MPA '01) will be leaving for an exciting new role at NYU's Abu Dhabi campus. In her new position as Senior Advisor to the Dean, Lisa will be working closely with Jim Larimore, Dean of Students at NYUAD, on developing a program of parent relations, a strategic plan for operational and programmatic assessment in student life, and other projects that arise. While she is looking forward to this new challenge, Lisa is very sad to be leaving NYU Wagner. "Words can't express how I feel about leaving NYU Wagner and the amazing community of faculty, staff, alumni and students of which I've been privileged to be a part.  But, I look forward to being an involved alumna - and I'll see you all on June 8th at Wag Day!"

An evening with Henry Kissinger elicits his views on the Middle East
NYU Wagner and the New-York Historical Society sponsored a conversation with Dr. Henry A. Kissinger on Wednesday, April 7th at the Metropolitan Club. Dean Ellen Schall, together with Roger Hertog and Louise Mirrer, the Chairman and the President, respectively, of the Historical Society, invited guests to an evening of Dr. Kissinger discussing Middle East strategy with NYU Wagner Visiting Professor Michael Doran, an expert on the international politics of the Middle Middle East. Dr. Kissinger toured the horizon, discussing the interlocking strategic dilemmas facing the Obama administration throughout the region -- from the struggle against the Taliban in Afghanistan to the difficulty of brokering an Israeli-Palestinian peace, and from the international need to stop the Iranian nuclear program to the prospect of working with the Russians to solve problems of mutual concern.  View pictures of the event here.

Alumni Insights: Pictures for our new Website

You share your insights with us!

For the redesign of wagner.nyu.edu, we're looking for photographs of "welcome" messages/signs which are drawn or printed in western or non western scripts, and displayed in an urban and local neighborhood context. If you have such a photo, please email wagner@nyu.edu with your name, the location of the photograph, and the language used.  We'd also love pictures of our alumni in action at their jobs - send them to: wagner.alumni@nyu.edu.

Follow the Class of 2010's Example

Before they walk across the graduation stage, the members of the Class of 2010 are supporting Wagner by making donations toward a class gift. They know that by contributing to the school and raising Wagner's alumni giving rate, they increase the value of their degrees - and they're on pace to beat the participation record set by the Class of 2009!

All alumni are invited to get involved. Make an Online Contribution in solidarity with these students and their giving spirit.

THANK YOU for supporting the students who follow in your footsteps.
