The mission of the Wagner Alumni Association (WAA) is to advance the interests of Wagner alumni, promote public service, and further the goals of NYU Wagner and the NYU community. The WAA seeks to work collaboratively with alumni and the Wagner School administration.
WAA Board Officer and Director positions are elected on an annual basis. Terms last from July 1st - June 30th.
The following WAA Board positions are up for election:
Officers (one-year term):
- President
- Executive Vice President
- Vice President for Development
- Recording Secretary
- Corresponding Secretary
- Treasurer
Directors (two-year term):
- Director (5 Director seats are open)
Responsibilities of WAA Board members include:
- Operate in alignment with the goals of NYU Wagner, and follow policies and procedures as set forth by administration.
- Participate in all board meetings (if not in person, then over the phone). 5 meetings are scheduled for the course of the academic year at the beginning of the term.
- Contribute to and/or help grow the Wagner Annual Fund on a yearly basis throughout one's term.
- Enhance the Wagner network by enrolling as a WAG-NET volunteer and supporting WAG-NET activities.
