Joseph R. Arcieri

Mr. Arcieri was an Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Manager with Morgan Stanley Investment Management from 1986 to 2008. During his tenure he shared responsibility for the management of four open-end and 15 closed-end municipal bond funds totaling over $6 billion in assets.  Many of these funds were awarded multiple Lipper Achievement Certificates.  Mr. Arcieri has diverse investment experience including credit research, trading and relationship management with institutional salespeople. In addition, while at Morgan Stanley he was responsible for oversight of the Investment Management Group's separately managed accounts area with responsibility for development of investment strategy.  Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Arcieri worked as a municipal analyst and portfolio strategist with the Irving Trust Company. 

Mr. Arcieri holds a B.S. and M.A. in Economics from Fordham University and a MBA with a concentration in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.  Mr. Arcieri was member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, the Municipal Buyers Conference and has been an instructor for the Municipal Bond Club of New York's Bond School.
