Sarah Calderon
Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Service

Sarah Calderon is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Service at the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and Executive Director for Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education in the Bronx.

Before coming to Casita, she was the founding director of Stickball Printmedia Arts, an organization that brought opportunity to economically disadvantaged students in East Harlem and worked with the NYC Department of Education’s Office of the Arts and Special Projects as the ArtsCount Advisor, implementing the first comprehensive review of arts in schools across the city and creating an arts accountability system.

Calderon earned a Master of Arts degree in Arts in Education, with a concentration in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from Harvard University.
