Join industry expert, Rob Acton, for a conversation on nonprofit trends and corporate social responsibility. Rob is the founder of Cause Strategy Partners where he works with nonprofit organizations to strengthen their boards, as well as develop leadership capacity for board members. He was formerly the Executive Director at Taproot NYC where he worked with executives and nonprofit organizations. Rob will share his insights on trends in nonprofit organizations and corporate social responsibility.


Understanding the NYC Civil Service Exam

Industry Expert Series: Stacey Gillett discusses Government Innovation: Perspectives from Within Government and Philanthropy

Join Stacey Warady Gillett (EMPA 2014) for a conversation on government innovation, from within government, and from philanthropy. Stacey leads the What Works Cities initiative at Bloomberg Philanthropies, an effort to help mayors enhance how they use data and evidence to make decisions and improve outcomes for residents. She previously worked in the Bloomberg Administration in a variety of capacities, and helped launch Universal Pre-K in New York City. Stacey began her career working as a legislative aide for US Senator Charles E. Schumer and on the Democratic staff of the Committee on Government Reform in the US House of Representatives. She received her EMPA from NYU and BA from Barnard College, Columbia University.
