Join the WAGner NETwork

WAG-NET, NYU Wagner's online networking database, connects students and alumni who are interested in sharing professional advice and exploring career options. See below and our WAG-NET FAQ page for more information.

Get Career Advice

Through WAG-NET, students and alumni can contact Wagner graduates (and working students) who have volunteered to share career tips and advice. WAG-NET advisors can offer insights on industry trends, organizational culture and hiring patterns among many other career topics.

Access WAG-NET via the Career Directory. Log-in and click on the WAG-NET tab.

If you do not see a WAG-NET tab, visit an OCS Staff member during Walk-In Hours.

Give Career Advice, Two ways!

WAG-NET Advisor

WAG-NET Advisors help students and alumni lead successful public service careers by sharing career insights.  Advisors volunteer to conduct informational interviews with other members of the Wagner community.  They can also speak on career panels and/or recruit prospective Wagner students in their region.

WAG-NET Coaches provide high-impact, industry-specific advice and guidance to teams and individual students working on projects (such as Capstone).  On an as-needed basis, Coaches work with Wagner faculty and administration to determine how best to share their expertise with emerging leaders in their area of interest.
