Admission is selective and based on the applicant's prior academic record and professional achievements. Certificate candidates are not eligible for scholarship. Students must complete 16 credits (courses are 4 credits unless otherwise noted). Many of the Certificates have one or more required courses. Students who have acquired knowledge of the subject matter of any of the required courses prior to enrolling at Wagner are encouraged to pursue course waivers. In some instances, a student can take a waiver exam to waive a course. See specific course waiver policies here.
Candidates must maintain an average of a B (3.0) or better in course work and meet other relevant requirements applicable to NYU Wagner students.
Tuition and Fees
The Advanced Professional Certificate is a pay-per-credit program. Students must complete 16 credits to receive a Certificate. More information on costs can be found here.
