Courses

The SPSS Exam is a closed-book exam which is done on the computer. Given a set of data with a limited number of variables, students must demonstrate how they would use SPSS to recode variables and generate various types of statistical output (frequency tables; crosstabulation tables; T-Tests; ANOVA tests; Chi-Square tests; correlation matrices; and regression results). Students must be able to recognize precisely what type of statistical analysis is required to answer each question and must write down the computer steps (what to click on, what to type) required to generate the specified type of statistical output.
