Attending graduate school is an investment in your future and a serious commitment of time and money. There are many ways students can fund an NYU education and we strongly encourage you to seek out all possibilities. Federal and private loans, federal work-study, merit scholarships, assistantships, and employment are some of the opportunities available to both full-time and part-time students to assist in the completion of NYU Wagner degree.
Scholarships can cover up to 60 credits for MPA programs and 36 credits for MS Programs and cannot exceed coverage for over 16 credits a semester. Scholarship can only cover coursework that will count towards the degree. Wagner Scholarships will only cover tuition and are based on a percentage of tuition. Students who drop courses should alert Sara Konekeo, Operations Supervisor, at 212.998.7413. In this case, Scholarship awards will drop accordingly. Failure to do so may result in owing money to the University in the future.
Summer Scholarship allocations are processed separately. All students who are interested in receiving Summer Scholarships should adhere to the Summer scholarship deadline. Only students who submit applications by the deadline will be considered.
Students who receive scholarship should be aware of all drop/add deadlines as well. No student is exempt from the fees that accompany missing these deadlines. Scholarship will not cover these fees. Registration fees are non-refundable.
All Wagner students should be on the alert for the Scholarship Deadline reminders sent through the Wagner-Student-Affairs ListServ. With the help of notices through the Wagner-Student-Affairs ListServ, it is the student's responsibility to submit applications for scholarship consideration according to the deadlines.
In order to be considered for all forms of financial aid, it is important to adhere to all deadlines.
