Drew Allen

Drew currently works as the Director of Research and Evaluation for CUNY's Collaborative Programs, where he designs and overseas program evaluations for the University's college transition programs in approximately 400 NYC public schools. Drew is interested in the intersection between access to education and economic opportunities. He is particularly interested in looking at the effectiveness of multi-tiered educational interventions and the challenges of developing research methodologies to evaluate tiered programs. Drew intends to initially enter the doctoral program on a part-time basis in order to continue his research work at CUNY. He holds a master’s degree in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Arkansas.
