David Krantz
Interests: Environmental policy, Jewish environmentalism, social justice, Israel
David Krantz co-founded the Green Zionist Alliance: The Grassroots Campaign for a Sustainable Israel, a nonprofit organization he currently heads. A founding member of Jewcology.com, David is a member of the Green Hevra's stewardship committee and a member of the cabinet and the board of directors of the American Zionist Movement. He previously served as a leadership fellow at COEJL: The Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life, and in 2009 he was named by ROI as a promising young leader in the Jewish community. He completed his first master's degree at the University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Journalism. David chose NYU’s Wagner/Skirball MPA-MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies program for its professionalism, academic rigor, caring faculty, and accomplished student body. He is a Steinberg Fellow in his third year of the program program, focusing on environmental policy and Jewish environmentalism.
