Student Bio

Lily Lozovsky

Interests: Communications, nonprofit technology, social entrepreneurship

Lily Lozovsky is a third-year student in the NYU Wagner/Skirball MPA-MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies program and a Jewish Foundation for the Education of Women (JFEW) fellow who plans to complete her studies in 2013. Originally from Minsk, Belarus, she received her B.A. in Business Management and Marketing from Yeshiva University's Sy Syms School of Business. She currently works as a communications consultant for the national development team at AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corpsand serves as a program consultant for the NYU Bronfman Center's CLIP internship program. This summer, Lily co-founded Mission Metrix, a start-up tech and consulting firm, to develop technology solutions for the social sector. Lily spent three years working as the Director of Planning and Leadership Development at the Shorefront YM-YWHA where she collaborated with the management team to implement core strategy and programming objectives. Through the Wagner Experience Fund, Lily worked at DoSomething.org in the summer of 2011, where she helped to accommodate growth and new hiring. Lily is an active mentor to Ashoka Youth Venture's NYU initiative and is active with the board of the Wagner Women's Caucus as the former Director of Campaigns and Operations.
