Interests: Food justice, Jewish communal history, advancing women leaders
Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Naomi Adland graduated from Brandeis University in 2008 with a BA in American Studies. After graduation, she lived and worked in a year-long fellowship with AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps in Chicago before moving to Jerusalem, where she completed a year of study at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. Naomi comes to the NYU Wagner/Skirball MPA-MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies program after working for two years as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for Pardes. Naomi was drawn to the MPA-MA program because of its emphasis on public service in combination with its focus on building a stronger Jewish community. She is excited for the opportunity to learn from and with an incredible network of nonprofit professionals and academics. Currently a first-year student, Naomi is also a Wexner Graduate Fellow/Davidson Scholar.
