Hadas (Dasi) Fruchter thrives on spiritual leadership and faith-driven social justice work. Originally from Silver Spring, MD, she graduated summa cum laude from the Macaulay Honors College at Queens College. She is now a first-year student in the NYU Wagner/Skirball MPA-MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies program and a Wexner Graduate Fellow/Davidson Scholar. Dasi, who has experience organizing for economic justice with organizations in New York, Washington D.C., London, and Israel, is a presenter on Judaism and social justice at synagogues, schools, and conferences. She looks forward to spending her time at Wagner exploring innovative models and multifaceted strategies that bridge the private, public, and nonprofit spheres. She hopes to use The Research Center for Leadership in Action as a dynamic site in which to root her activist practice and to deepen her academic learning.
