Angela Profeta is a doctoral candidate at Wagner specializing in health policy and economic development. She works as a research associate for the Financial Access Initiative and the US Financial Diaries project. Angela has experience in healthcare consulting in New York City, representing healthcare providers in quality improvement and contracting with insurance companies. She is also a co-founder of the non-profit organization Manna Project International in Nicaragua, where she led the development of multiple health programs. She earned a MPH in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University, and completed her BA with high honors in Psychology and Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University.
