Volunteer Event with Wagner Alumni in the Bay Area

Given that Wagner is a public policy school, and we all have a deep passion for the public sector, we found it fitting to organize a volunteer event with a local nonprofit.

Join us on Saturday, Sept. 29th for a volunteer day building a sidewalk garden with Friends of the Urban Forest (FUF). We will meet at 1466 45th Ave at 9:00 am in the Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco. It will be a great opportunity to catch up with alumni, work with an amazing nonprofit, and the community is hosting a potluck lunch to thank all of the volunteers.

It will be a chance to meet several San Francisco supervisors that are scheduled to attend, and the mayor might make an appearance as well.

FUF will provide tools and gloves for everyone. You should bring water and a hat. Also, wear closed toe-shoes, and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Plan on lunch being served around 1pm.

**If you can’t attend right at 9:00am please email wagner.alumni@nyu.edu.
