The Innovation Genome Project: Techniques to Innovate in a Complex World

Join the NYU Entrepreneur’s Network and Bridge as we welcome Bill O'Connor, Founder of the Innovation Genome Project and part of Autodesk's Corporate Strategy and Engagement team. Bill will explore the nature of real innovation via the lens of the groundbreakingly practical innovation genome toolkit. The Project is studying the world's greatest 1,000 innovations over the span of the past 2.6 millions years, which has yielded two powerful innovation techniques: The Seven Essential Innovation Questions (SEIQ) and the Impact/Imagination Innovation Prioritization Matrix. Join Bill as he (benignly) makes fun of the rest of the innovation field, talks about cavewoman innovation, occasionally curses as the spirit moves him, and generally tries to help everyone make their work more innovative.
