Peacemakers in Action: Tanenbaum Center for Inter-religious Understanding
Presented by The International Public Service Association, the Asian Pacific American Student Alliance, and the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding

Rev. Jacky Manuputty of Indonesia and Dishani Jayaweera of Sri Lanka will share their experiences as grassroots peace leaders. Both of their communities have been rocked by ethnic and religious violence, but Jacky and Dishani are working at the heart of these conflicts to empower a new generation of peacebuilders. Drawing on resources as varied as modern social media technology and the ancient principles of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and Hinduism, these Peacemakers are building interdependent societies and peaceful futures. Join us to learn more about their innovative efforts.

Jacky and Dishani are both winners of Tanenbaum’s Peacemaker in Action award. To learn more visit
