Foreign Aid Workshop; Lunch with Professor Gershman
Presented by International Public Service Association (IPSA)

Interested in learning more about foreign aid and its impact on international development? IPSA is proud to collaborate with Professor John Gershman to deliver a Foreign Aid workshop aiming to provide students with a core understanding of development assistance through foreign aid. This workshop will cover aid approaches of multi-lateral, bi-lateral and non-governmental actors and provide background to how these agencies navigate the complex world of international development. We will explore current debates in international development assistance, and will look at how these debates inform and shape foreign aid in the post “Millennium Development Goals” landscape. Professor Gershman will guide us through exercises that contextualize donor-recipient relationships and the challenging frameworks in foreign aid that shape development.
