Diana Silver

Diana Silver, MPH, is a Research Scientist with the Center for Health and Public Service Research and serves as the Project Director for the National Evaluation of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation–s Urban Health Initiative. She joined the Center for Health and Public Service Research in 1996. Before coming to NYU, Ms. Silver served as Deputy Director of the Hunter College Center on Community Health, where she was responsible for working with public and non-profit health and social service agencies, the jails and court systems, unions and public high schools to develop new policies and programs. Recent articles she has co-authored have appeared in Policy Studies Journal, the American Journal of Evaluation, the Journal of Urban Health and, forthcoming, in Public Administration Review. She is currently completing her doctorate in public administration at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. She serves on the Advisory Board of the AIDS and Adolescents Network of New York City.
