Administrative residencies are designed for students who began their studies at Wagner with little work experience. A residency is meant to build upon early exposure — through internships, part-time positions, and/or volunteer work — to the health care arena. A residency enables the student to acquire, through practical experience, the knowledge and skills required to function effectively in a health service organization by working under the direction of senior level, skilled practitioners who act as preceptors. Residencies often include departmental rotations and senior level access. For more information, contact Wagner's Office of Career Services.
