The Hammad Fund was created especially for Wagner as a tribute to the late Ismail Hammad and his wife Aleya for their years of commitment to international understanding, and their combined contributions to the resolution of critical international public service challenges. The Hammad Fund International Leadership and Scholarship Award is presented to a graduating Wagner student who exhibits an outstanding capacity for leadership in international public service and demonstrates a strong potential to influence thinking and/or practices in the field of international public service.
Students are nominated for the Hammad Fund Award by Wagner faculty and staff. Nominees must be enrolled in one of the following degree programs and meet the required criteria outlined below:
