Previously, Casey spent five years at the media advocacy nonprofit GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, where he worked his way from grant writing intern to volunteer programs manager for a national team of 900 volunteers.
Casey has a BA in Public Relations from the University of Southern California and an MPA from NYU Wagner. He is especially interested in the way organizations support their talent and in the role emotions play in work groups.
