The Annie E. Casey Foundation Children and Families Fellowship is a national program that aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged children, their families, and communities.
After ten years of supporting major leaders across the country, the Casey Foundation decided to pause the program and undergo a period of reflection and redesign. Working closely with Casey staff, the Research Center for Leadership in Action facilitated an examination of the program's core goals and structure to enhance the Foundation's ability to maximize impact and scale within both the nonprofit and public sectors.
The Center helped the foundation with all aspects of the new fellowship -- including consultative sessions, rethinking selection criteria, redesigning the application process, and designing the first seminars of the new program.
