Adjunct Assistant Professor of Health Policy
Jorge L. Medina is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Economics at The College of New Rochelle teaching economics classes including Environmental Economics and Principles of Macroeconomics. Prior to teaching at The College of New Rochelle, he served as an adjunct lecturer at the City College of New York from 2009 to 2011 and at Brooklyn College in 2009. Dr. Medina has taught in such fields as health economics, international economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics. He has also performed research in both the health economics and development economics fields. Dr. Medina holds a B.A. cum laude in Economics from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the City University of New York, where he embarked on a three-year graduate teaching fellowship for the Department of Economics.
