MS in Management: General Program

The Master of Science in Management degree is segregated into two functional areas: Public and Nonprofit Management and Health Services Management. The program is designed to give students advanced competency in management and financial management. The strength of this MS program is in the flexibility of the curriculum. With the help of a faculty advisor, students choose their courses from Wagner and throughout NYU. The sample schedules listed below are for illustrative purposes only and are not a set of requirements.

Summary of Requirements

I. School Core (2 courses/8 credits)

*Strategic Management is recommended for MS students.

II. Management/Financial Management Core: Students choose 8 credits in Public-Non Profit or Health

III. Specialization Courses: Students choose 16 credits in Public-Non Profit or Health

IV. End Event (1 course/4 credits)
