Rebuild and Renew New York Transportation Bond Act
On October 25, 2005, the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management at New York University (NYU) Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service will be co-hosting a public forum on the “Rebuild and Renew New York Transportation Bond Act” with the Permanent Citizens Advisory Committee to the MTA. On November 8, 2005, voters will be asked to approve a $2.9 billion bond measure to fund projects crucial to the MTA and New York State's roads and bridges. Leading transportation experts will discuss and answer questions on the Bond Act and the improvements that depend on its passing. Guest speakers include: Robert Yaro, President, Regional Plan Association; Richard Ravitch, former MTA Chairman; and Ernest Tollerson, Senior Vice President, Research and Policy Development, Partnership for New York City. The event will be held at NYU Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, Room 914, 9th Floor from 5:30 − 7:00pm. The event is free and open to the public. Valid ID is required.
