NYU Wagner Rudin Center Hosts Seminar on New Mobility, the Next Generation of Sustainable Urban Transportation
On March 30, 2007, the NYU Wagner Rudin Center for Transportation Policy &
Management and the University Transportation Research Center, Region 2 will
be hosting a Visiting Scholar's Seminar featuring Susan Zielinski of the
Sustainable Mobility and Accessibility Research and Transformation Project
(SMART) of the University of Michigan.
New Moiblity is a whole systems
approach to understanding and reinventing urban transportation, and engages
a wide range of private and public sector innovators. This session will
present New Mobility concepts and opportunities with selected case studies
from around the world. The seminar will be from 9:30am to 12:00pm, and will
take place at NYU Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, 9th Floor, Room
