Jarrett Alexander

Executive Director, The Alexander Social Services Center (TASSC)

TASSC is dedicated to eradicating the problems that contribute to and result from a lack of stable housing. To this end, TASSC provides the homeless families of Washington, DC with temporary shelter and case management services to help ensure the attainment of permanent housing and economic independence. As director, I supervise a case manager and several program monitors in the provision of these services. I also write grant proposals and reports (narrative and statistical) to maintain and expand funding for the organization, and perform such accounting functions as invoice and payroll.











Brian Byrd

Assistant Director, Communications, The Rockefeller Foundation

I’m responsible for all internal communication activities including the foundation’s website and intranet; until recently, I also managed a small grantmaking program.











Mary Comans

Presidential Management Fellow, Budget Analyst, Food and Drug Administration, Office of the Commissioner, Office of Financial Management

As a member of the Budget Formulation and Presentation team I provide ongoing financial management leadership and coordination to the seven FDA program centers as well as serve as the focal point for the preparation, review, coordination, and transmittal of budget requests to the Department of Health and Human Services, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Congress.











Jenny Lin Maloney

Associate Analyst, Public Finance Group, Moody's Investors Service

I analyze credit worthiness and assign credit rating for public issuers of debt, including cities, towns and school districts, focusing on the Northeast region of the United States.











James McKissic

Education Programs Manager, Urban League of Greater Chattanooga

I direct all projects related to public education support and reform as well as youth development initiatives for an affiliate of the National Urban League. I also started a small charitable organization which provides educational opportunities for low-income children and their families.











Michelle Quinn-Davidson

Programs Manager, YouthBuild Academy for Transformation, YouthBuild USA

Professionally, I have been a Program Manager for the Big Sister Association of Boston, a Department Administrator for the Stern School of Business at N.Y.U., a Researcher for the Wagner School’s Center for Health and Public Service Research, and the Managing Director of Youth on Board. As a Consultant and Volunteer, I have served in various positions including working with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to diversify their funding streams, and volunteering for the John Kerry for President campaign and the Democratic National Convention. As a facilitator, I have led training events on team-building, conflict management, and coaching.











Pria Rai

Director of Human Resources and Organization Development, Coalition for the Homeless

At the Coalition, apart from managing human resources administration, I have created and implemented an agency wide performance management system. As part of organization development, I am presently conducting a leadership development initiative for the Coalition. In the coming months, I will also lead and implement a strategic organizational alignment and effectiveness project. Before joining Wagner, I worked on diverse social projects with NGOs in India.











Stephen Rolandi

Deputy Commissioner, Department of Records and Information Services, City of New York

I am the Chief Operating Officer for the Municipal Agency responsible for the records management/records retention for 60 municipal agencies and local courts, operation of one of the largest government research libraries in the nation, and maintenance of the city’s municipal archives and conservation centers. I report directory to the Commissioner/CEO of the agency.











Stacey Rubinstein

Training Director, Morris Area Girl Scout Council

I am responsible for managing a team of volunteer trainers, who provide training to over 5,000 Girl Scout leaders. I am expanding the training program, writing curriculum and working to provide volunteers with quality learning experiences in order for them to have the tools to lead.











Kandi Shejavali

Independent Consultant

As an independent consultant, I take on varied projects in the area of international development. I have worked with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Development Program on issues that range from basic social service financing to monitoring and evaluating the implementation of children's rights.
