Angel Saz-Carranza (Barcelona, 1976) has worked with several nonprofits and governmental institutions in Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia in Humanitarian Aid and International Development. He has worked in the European Commission's Humanitarian Office, and has been the Sudan Country Coordinator with CESVI-World Aid from Italy, and Vice-President of Engineers Without Borders-Catalunya. He has also worked as a management consultant to public and nonprofit organizations, such as the Inter-American Development Bank and Barcelona's Metropolitan Government.
He earned a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College (University of London), studied International Development at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and is completing a PhD in Public Management through ESADE Business School. He is currently a Visiting Scholar at Wagner School of Public Service (New York University), where he focuses on social change nonprofit networks.
