International Student Guide Fall 2015

Dear New International Wagner Student:

Congratulations on your acceptance to NYU Wagner and greetings from Wagner’s Office of International Programs (OIP). At this early juncture in your Wagner career, our goal is to ensure that you are aware of the resources available to you and to help you prepare for your arrival in New York.  This guide contains information relevant to international students. Please make sure you read each section in its entirety.

Beyond Wagner, NYU provides additional resources available to all international students such as NYU’s Office for Global Services (OGS). You will receive information from OGS with important details related to visa regulations and procedures.

It is required that you attend  the Wagner International Student Orientation on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm in the Rudin Family Forum on the 2nd floor of the Puck Building (295 Lafayette Street at Houston Street). Please confirm that you will attend by registering here. In addition, you must attend the Wagner New Student Retreat on August 22nd and 23rd.

In order to ensure the smoothest possible transition to living in New York City and attending NYU Wagner, we strongly encourage you to arrive in New York no later than August 1 so that you can get settled prior to the orientation activities that begin in mid-August.

We look forward to meeting you. If you have questions, please email Wagner Student and Program Services at If your questions are related to visa issues (applications, procedures, etc.), please visit the NYU-OGS website or contact them directly at
