Step 7: LEARN ABOUT THE BOOKS PURCHASING PROGRAM
As a unique benefit of the EMPA Nurse Leaders program, Nurse Leader students can elect to have the cost of required books included on their fall tuition bill. If students choose to participate in this program, a fee will be charged to their Bursar bill to cover required books purchased from the NYU bookstore (outside retailers not included) for one academic year - fall, spring and summer semesters. The student's fall tuition Bursar bill will reflect the books fee ("course material fee") and can be submitted as part of the student's employer tuition reimbursement plan (if applicable; students must check with their employer).
How the program works:
- Fill out the enrollment form for this program;
- Detailed instructions will then be emailed to you, including how to buy your books online and have them shipped to you;
- Submit your Bursar bill to your employer. The fee for the books will appear on the fall tuition bill as "course material fee."
- Complete the form no later than Thursday, August 22.
