School of Law

In order to be registered for a course at NYU Law, students must complete the following steps:

  • STEP 1: Download the permission form from the Law School Office of Academic Services
  • STEP 2: Receive permission to register for the course from the instructor who must sign the form
  • STEP 3: Obtain a signature and/or a letter of good academic standing from Wagner Academic Services (
  • STEP 4: Deliver the form to the Law School Office of Academic Services, Furman Hall, 245 Sullivan Street, 4th Floor

The Law School Office of Academic Services will arrange for your registration if they grant you final permission and there is room in the course.


Students interested in registering for URPL-GP 2670, “Land Use, Housing and Community Development in New York City” must consult the Urban Planning Course Highlights for details about the course application.  Space is very limited for this seminar, which is cross-listed with the Law School.
