Commissioner Weinshall to speak at NYU Wagner Rudin Center's Policy Breakfast Series
On September 12, 2005, New York City Department of Transportation's Commissioner, Iris Weinshall, will speak at a breakfast meeting at NYU Kimmel Center. Commissioner Weinshall will share her views regarding critical issues facing the New York City Department of Transportation. Conference: Planning and Design with Communities in Mind
On Wednesday, April 20, 2005, the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management is co-sponsoring the conference, �Planning and Design with Communities in Mind: Context Sensitive Solutions in Our Region,� with the University Transportation Research Center (UTRC), and the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC). Co-hosts include the American Institute of Architects, NY Chapter (AIA), American Planning Association, NY Metro Chapter (APA), Regional Plan Association (RPA), and the Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute at Baruch College. The Keynote speaker will be Honorable Tom Suozzi, Nassau County Executive. In addition to our featured speaker, panel sessions comprised of key decision makers will enable and encourage dialogue between presenters and the audience.
