Application Process
Students participating in the four-week program offered by the Network at NYU are recruited from the pool of LEDA scholars who have completed the eight-week Aspects of Leadership Summer Institute the previous year at Princeton University.
At the Aspect of Leadership Summer Institute, scholars receive over 40 hours of SAT preparation and over 20 hours of analytical writing instruction; participate in team-building exercises and group activities including role play on complex social, historical, and political issues; and read articles and essays on leadership.
Upon completion of the LEDA program, students have the opportunity to participate in the Beyond the Window four-week Public Policy Institute the following summer with the Women of Color Policy Network on the campus of NYU
