Alena Balgobin, Stanford University, Class of 2012.
She is originally from Barbados, but moved to the U.S. in July 2000 and attended Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design in Brooklyn. Alena plans to study psychology and pre-med at Stanford.

Carlos Laureano, Wesleyan University, Class of 2012.
Carlos is from Bronx, New York and attended Bronx Leadership Academy II. He plans to study political science, chemical physics, and molecular biochemistry at Wesleyan.

Godwina Titus, Carnegie Mellon University, Class of 2012.
Godwina is from Jackson Heights, New York. She plans to major in economics and minor in Chinese studies at Carnegie Mellon.

Karima Fyfield, Oswego State University, Class of 2012.

Shane is from Irvington, New Jersey and attended North Brunswick Township High School. He is in the Philip Evans Scholars Program and plans to major in psychology while at Swarthmore College.

Shenielle is originally from Jamaica and attended Abraham Lincoln High School, Brooklyn New York. She plans to pursue a major in biochemistry at Dartmouth.

Yelka is from Jackson Heights, New York and attended the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Queens. At Occidental College, she plans to study international relations with an emphasis on economics for a pre-law degree.
