Infant mortality rates for blacks and Puerto Ricans in New York City exceed national averages
Black and Puerto Rican women account for 80% of deaths to HIV disease
Black women have the highest arrest and incarceration rates among women in the city, exceeding white males
Only 20% of black, 14% of Native American and 8% of Hispanic women have completed a Bachelor's degree or above
Black women are 21% of the Mayoral workforce but only 4% of top administrators
31% of Asian women had a Bachelors degree or above, but an almost an equal
proportion failed to complete High School
81% of women in poverty are women of color
