Accessibility Advocacy for the MTA
Quemuel “Q” Arroyo (MPA 2020) joined the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in 2021 as the organization's first agency-wide Chief Accessibility Officer. In this capacity, Arroyo leads the implementation of policies, initiatives, and programs that reimagine and advance accessibility throughout the organization.

Equity in Education
Jennifer Curry (MPA 2007) is getting social impact organizations the funding and training they need in order to thrive. Her journey as a first-generation Latinx college student inspired her to invest in public partnerships that accelerate educational equity for everyone through her organization, Change Impact.

Economic justice with equitable credit
As co-founder of founded Esusu, a financial equity platform that leverages technology to report residents’ on-time rent payments, Wemimo Abbey (MPA 2015) is driving economic justice by creating a more equitable credit building system.
