WAG-NET is an online, password protected database that connects students and alumni who are interested in sharing career insights and advice. Note: WAG-NET is not a job searching or job swapping database.
WAG-NET allows Advisors - alumni and working students - to indicate how they would like to share career advice with members of the Wagner community. Advisors can sign up to conduct one-on-one informational interviews, speak at career panels and educational events, serve as regional alumni contacts, or speak with prospective students about the benefits of attending Wagner.
WAG-NET Advisees, students and alumni who are seeking career advice, can search the WAG-NET database to connect with Advisors who are working in their fields of interest.
Advisees must complete a brief WAG-NET orientation with the Office of Career Services (OCS) before gaining access. Stop by during Walk-In-Hours or schedule an appointment per the instructions provided HERE.
Alumni and working students can sign up to serve as WAG-NET Advisors by completing this ONLINE SIGN-UP FORM. Be sure to indicate your preferred WAG-NET activities.
WAG-NET is not a job swapping database. Advisors are not expected to give jobs or job leads. Instead, Advisors share information and resources that help Advisees build professional networks, clarify career goals, determine how to compete for career advancing opportunities, and remain abreast of industry trends among other networking benefits. Advisees are not permitted to request jobs or job leads. Noncompliance with this policy will result in termination of WAG-NET privileges.
