Join the Wagner Health Network for an exclusive group mentoring session with Dr. Richard Gannotta, interim CEO of UC Irvine Health. Come hear from Richard as he shares his decades of experience as a top-level healthcare executive across the US.

Richard (Rick) Gannotta is currently the interim Chief Executive Officer for UCI Health (University of California Irvine). Prior to that appointment, Rick served as the Senior Vice President for Hospitals at NYC Health and Hospitals. Previously he served in a number of executive positions in healthcare including President of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, President of Duke Raleigh Hospital, and has held various executive positions with WakeMed (Raleigh NC).

Dr. Gannotta’s areas of research interest include the economic impact of alternative models of care, patient safety, high-reliability systems and healthcare disruptors. Academic affiliations have included teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level as Duke consulting faculty.

Dr. Gannotta received his BSN and Nurse Practitioner from Florida International University, an MBA from Campbell University, and a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
