Join us for a one-hour demo session on how to create an interactive data visualization in R.

Students are welcome to bring their own laptops as this will be a hands-on workshop.

During this talk, Vivian Zhang, founder of NYC Data Science Academy, will demonstrate in a one-hour session, how R can be used to data wrangle, visualize, and create a dashboard application. The data used will be an NYC Open data use case, well-suited for a variety of tasks such as visualizing trends, mapping, and modeling.

The R statistical programming language continues to be one of the overall fastest growing programming languages. It continues to show up in data science related job requisitions, scholarly articles and has a huge open source community.

If you’re interested in exploring data science, then come join this session and see what NYC Data Science Academy has to offer.
