Join Wagner Philanthropy for a lunchtime discussion on the role that fundraising and private donations play in political campaigns. The event will feature panelists from diverse backgrounds in the philanthropic and political sectors who will share their perspectives on the topic.

We will explore the intersection of philanthropy and politics, with a particular focus on how it impacts election outcomes. We will also talk about the role that philanthropy plays in topics such as protecting voting rights, promoting civic engagement, and safeguarding democratic processes.

Confirmed speakers include: Rach Junard, Deputy State and Local Outreach Director and D&I Lead at ActBlue; Bryan Perlmutter, founding partner of Piece by Piece Strategies; Gwen Rocco, communications strategist who previously worked on several political campaigns, including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama; Juan Ardila, candidate for local office in Queens; and Emily Graham, co-founder of Motivote and currently working for Kirsten Gillibrand’s PAC.
